Addison Faith was baptized today (along with her friend Cameron - son of our friends Brad and Jennifer Davis). Addison wore a special dress that was made by her Godmother (Megan Sterk) and also worn by her friend Kaya for her baptism! (Godfather, Mike Kooreman couldn't make it. He lives in UT you see!) Pastor Riley did a wonderful job with the baptism and Jeff sang a wonderful, personalized song for the kids. I'm happy to say that no tears were shed (by the babies that is). Halfway thru the service Cameron actually reached out to hold Addison's hand - it was pretty cute!
A special thanks to all who attended. It was great to have you all there.

A visit from The "Pitzer's" (and Carmack's)
This week Grandma and Grandpa Pitzer (FL), Uncle David (FL), Aunt Steph and Cousin's Josh and Alyssa (OH) came to visit us. This was their first time meeting Addison!!! (Not G'ma and G'pa, they were here in April.) We had a great time together. We don't get to see each other very often (unlike The Dykstra's), but when we do; we make our time together count.
Family is VERY important to us. We were grateful that our family could make the trip to be with us.

Our 4th of July
We had a great 4th of July as a family! The morning started by going to the parade in Ada. Great Grandma, Grandma and Grandpa D., Aunts Kristi and Beth, Uncle John and Kristian (and Choo Choo) were all there. Following the parade, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for a special and very festive lunch. Yumm!
As our day comes to a close, I pray that we not forget (throughout the rest of the year) what today really means, and how privileged we are to be AMERICAN'S. Special thanks and prayers to my cousin, Matt Hernandez. Thank you for protecting our freedom! God Bless our troops and God Bless America.
