An Intro to 32092...

Long time no update, I know. sorry.
I have not been able to post pictures on our blog since I seem to have "misplaced" our USB cord. Hmm... If I don't find it soon. I'll see if I can borrow one. I really want to share the pics of our new home and neighborhood with you all.
Since I can't illustrate with pictures, I thought I'd try to paint a picture of our new community and town for you via words.

It seems that no one really spends a lot of quality time out doors in the summer (unless it's at the pool), So I have not really met too many of my neighbors.
Tess (across the street), is my first friend here. We spend a lot of time together. Her son, Nick is 16 months. He and Addison have a lot of fun together. Her husband Drew, is in the navy; and is working on a fighter jet project at the St.Augustine airport(for the next 2 years).
My next door neighbors to the right are moving.
To the left, the Mom is a single parent who works all day. Her boys are school-aged and one of them has autism/terets and epilepsy. She seems to have her hands full. They aren't around all that much.
The only other neighbor I know is Peter. He lives next to Matt's brother. He has two "hot dog dogs", Bella and Hanzi. He is old and a bit crazy. But likes it when we stop by on our walks to say hello.
That's my "Wisteria Lane".

The town itself is quite beautiful. It's full of good food and shopping, culture, history and ghost stories. (Yea, when you're the Nation's Oldest City there's bound to be ghosts!)
St. Augustine sits right on the Inter coastal Waterway (stretches from NY to FL)/ocean.

We, however, are about 20 minutes west of all that in an area called World Golf Village.
(Pretty fitting for Matt, huh?!) There are probably 5-6 large developments in W.G.V, built in between fields of corn, baptist churches and cow pastures.

Back to the neighborhood, The great thing about Heritage Landing is that there is so much to do here. They have basketball/beach volleyball/tennis courts, a soccer field, 2 pools, a water slide, a work out facility an outdoor bonfire pit and video screen for "family movie night", a fenced-in playground for the little kids, retention ponds with real alligators and walking paths everywhere!
At least, if we are out in the boonies there is plenty to do while we're here!
