Luck of the Irish

I hope you all had a safe and enjoyable St. Patty's! I know we did. :)

Saturday am started off with a bang, literally!! As Matt and Brad (Davis) participated in the Irish Jig (a 5k run thru East G.R). For those of you (like me) who don't know, this is a 3.1 mile race. Despite the chilly morning air the guys did great! Brad finished at 25.47 and Matt at 25.52.
Matt will now begin his training for running the 25k (15 mile) in the 5th3rd Riverbank run on May 12.

That afternoon Megan, Nolan, The Kost's, Davis', Lovejoy, Foley and Muth all came over to join in on the St. Patrick's day festivities. We ended up going to BW3's later that afternoon to have a few green beers. Yum!

Matt's new job!!!

We just wanted to let you all know that our prayers have been answered yet again!!!!
Matt was contacted by 5th3rd and presented with an offer he couldn't refuse. Monday starts his training in Ohio, then he'll be back on the road making new contacts and closing loans.

This position is a bit different than the other Wholesale Acct. Rep. positions Matt's had. He will be back in the "banking industry", which is much more of a secure market. This means that he'll be selling loan programs for those that have good credit (vs. the sub-prime market specializing in those with less than perfect credit scores). Another difference is that rather than selling 1st mortgage loan programs he'll be selling 2nds, home equity loans and lines of credit.

We are very excited for this opportunity!

11 Months!!!!!

Our little girl is growing up so fast! Next month we'll be celebrating her 1st birthday! Addi has been going thru another developmental growth spurt lately. She is cruising around the furniture quite quickly now as well as pushing chairs and other large objects across the room! She has great balance and has been standing on her own for a good amount of time, it won't be long now before she figures out how to walk!!!
She is pretty much eating whole foods, and loving every minute of it! She is not a picky child. If it's edible she'll eat it!
She says dada, mama, ball, doggy, woof-woof, moo, hi, bye, baby, happy and Kaya. She can sing, read her books and go on and on for minutes talking about who knows what!
She really enjoys flipping thru books, looking at her baby photo book, playing with wooden puzzles, taking all of the laundry out of the laundry basket and talking on her cell phone.
