13 Months

...Off and running!!!!
Yup, you guessed it Addison is now walking! It all started 2 weeks ago (Friday). She began taking 8-10 steps at a time and by the end of the weekend she was totally walking! Now the real fun starts.
Besides the huge milestone of walking, nothing much has changed since last month. Well, other than the daily increase in her vocabulary. :)

Big news from Belmont!!!!

As many of you know the mortgage industry in Michigan is about as good as the economy. As a result, we have had a very stressful last 12 months. We now believe that the stress for our family is over.

Matt has accepted a job in Jacksonville, FL!!! He will be moving Sunday and staying with his family until Addi and I join him on the fourth of June. We already have our house rented out (lease option - they plan to purchase at the end of 12 mos.). And we have rented a home in St. Augustine in the same neighborhood as Matt's parents and brother. :)

We feel that Florida is where we need to be, are very excited for the change, but a bit nervous too. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we go thru this transition.

12 Months

Addi had her Dr.'s appt. yesterday. It went really well. She is in perfect health and is growing/developing as she should be. She weighs 20lbs 9oz (50%) and is 29 inches tall (60%).
The Doc was very impressed with her vocabulary and out going personality.

*** On a personal note: Addison is now eating all "table foods", wearing size 4 diapers, can say about 15 words, does not use bottles - only sippy cups, has a pacifier only in the car and while sleeping, is still nursing once a day (in the morning) but will be graduating to cow's milk very soon, is cruising around the room via furniture(chairs, large toys, etc.) and should be walking any day now. Wow!!!! ***

1st BIRTHDAY!!!!

Addison had a great 1st B-day! I can honestly say that she enjoyed every minute of it. If she wasn't opening gifts or pigging out on cake she was playing with and hugging her friends.

She was a great sport. Where most kids can get shy, tired or over stimulated - she was happy and social the entire time! That's my girl! :)

Thank you to all who could make it to the party and special thanks to Sarah Fillmore who helped me with the cakes and to my parents who (cleaned for a week) were nice enough to let us celebrate in their home!
